How to Overcome Panic Attacks

Howdy, I was online doing a bit of research about Panic Attacks on Youtube and came across this excellent video. The video has some awesome advice on “how to overcome panic attacks“. His voice is really calm and his delivery just makes you feel nice and calm.  Some of the main points on how to overcome panic attacsk are:

1. Your mental state

  • Keep calm when having a panic attack.
  • Let yourself know its normal.
  • Dont try to control it.
  • Dont fight it off.
  • Remind yourself that Its okay to have one.
  • Panic attacks are normal.
  • Don’t punish yourself for having one.
  • Don’t belittle yourself.
  • Try to understand the triggers for the attacks.
  • Remind yourself that your NOT going to die.

2. Your Physical being

  • Stick to a healthy diet.
  • Reduce your caffeine intake.
  • Reduce your sugar intake.
  • Try to drink camomile tea.
  • Try to eat more vegetables.
  • Drugs such as LSD, Speed, MDMA can trigger panic attacks.

3. Exercise more Frequently

  • Join a gym.
  • Start running.
  • Go for regular walks.
  • Take the dog out for more walks.
  • Take up a sport like tennis or football.

4. Get Plenty of Rest

  • Make sure you get plenty of sleep.
  • Yoga.
  • Try some new relaxation techniques
  • Meditation.

So yeah,  check out the video. I think you’ll agree that its great quality through and through and If keep on suffering from panic attacks make sure you consult with your doctor. I don’t generally recommend medication to overcome panic attacks but you know what? For some people drugs like Xanax etc are the only cure. However, I believe if you keep your wits about you, look after your health and get plenty of rest and relaxation you’ll be on your way to having less or curing your panic attacks for good.
